Debbie

Dental Administrator

After working in healthcare for years, Debbie joined Whyte Ridge Dental as a receptionist in 2022. She was born in South Africa, and came to Winnipeg 20 years ago. She always strives to help patients the best she can, and one of her favourite parts of her job is the WRDC team because she says it feels like working with family. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her adult children and grandchildren.

Tanya

Dental Administrator

Tanya is one of the friendly faces that you will meet at our front desk. She joined the WRDC team in November 2024, and has over a year of experience in dental administration. She always looks forward to welcoming patients to our practice, and will ensure that your visit is smooth and stress-free. Outside of the office, Tanya enjoys travelling, watching movies, and listening to music.

Tamara

Dental Hygienist

Tamara began working at Whyte Ridge Dental in 2011, and has been practicing dental hygiene since 2009. The two things she enjoys most about being a hygienist are building relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable under her care. Tamara's hobbies include reading and spending time with her husband, Richard, and children, Scarlett and Colton. They especially enjoy spending their summers at the beach.

Heather

Dental Hygienist

Heather graduated from dental hygiene in 1998 and started working at WRDC two years later, in 2000. She always enjoys meeting new patients and giving them confidence to show off their smile every day. She and her husband, Dan, are raising two teenage boys, Ben and Alex. They love travelling, going on new adventures, and spending time together at their family cottage at West Hawk Lake.

Lisa

Dental Hygienist

Lisa joined WRDC in February 2009, and has been working as a hygienist since 2007. What she likes most about her job is all of the wonderful patients she's had the pleasure to connect with over the years. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys doing Pilates, reading, and lots of travelling. She also loves spending time with her friends and family, including her husband Brian, her two daughters, Alaya and Kya, and their dog, Ben. 

Nicole Smith

Dental Hygienist

Nicole graduated from the University of Manitoba's School of Dental Hygiene in 2011, and has been working as a hygienist at WRDC for four years. Prior to hygiene, Nicole was a registered dental assistant for ten years. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene and the systemic connection. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and two children, swimming, biking, golfing, reading, watching movies, and going to the cabin.

Cindy

Dental Hygienist

Cindy has been a hygienist for over 20 years. She started working at Whyte Ridge Dental in 2022, and enjoys building relationships with her patients. Outside of the office, she volunteers with a local dog rescue group, and can be seen walking the streets of Charleswood with her rescue dog Sully and foster dog Frank. Cindy and her husband enjoy watching NHL hockey and are working on seeing the Winnipeg Jets play at every NHL venue.

Megan

Dental Hygienist

Megan graduated with a diploma in dental hygiene in May 2024, and began working at Whyte Ridge Dental shortly after. Her favourite part of being a hygienist is the relationships she gets to form with her patients and coworkers. Outside of work, Megan enjoys travelling, playing volleyball, cooking and baking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jessica

Dental Hygienist

Jessica joined the WRDC team in September 2024, and has been working as a hygienist for ten years. One of the things she enjoys most about dental hygiene is educating people about their oral health. Jessica also likes to play basketball and ultimate frisbee, and video games to relax. She and her husband, Brendan, have two daughters. They like to go swimming in the summer, and sledding and skating in the winter.

Jen

Dental Assistant

Jen has been working as a dental assistant for over 30 years, and joined our team in October 2023. What she loves most about her job is working with her patients and coworkers. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and grandson. Jen's pastimes include hiking, volleyball, and theatre, as well as shopping and travelling with her daughter.
