Meet The Doctors

Dr. Tri Mai

D.M.D.

Dr. Mai graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Manitoba in 1999. Over the next 23 years, he worked in private practice and at the Department of National Defence's dental clinic. He joined Whyte Ridge Dental in 2012, and has always immensely enjoyed working with the patients here.

He enjoys dentistry because of the bonds he gets to form with patients. His favourite part of being a dentist is being able to change someone's smile or helping to alleviate their dental pain.

In his spare time, Dr. Mai loves to travel and watch football or basketball. He always looks forward to spending time with his wife, daughter, and two sons, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Moody A. Samuel

D.M.D.

Dr. Samuel graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Alexandria University in 2007, and has been working as a dentist ever since. Since relocating from Egypt to Winnipeg in 2019, he completed his NDEB exam in early 2024 and began working at WRDC shortly after.

Dr. Samuel is passionate about dentistry because he likes helping his patients feel happy and confident about their smiles, and enjoys providing them with the treatment they need.

One of his favourite hobbies is playing the piano. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, listening to music, playing video games, watching movies, and going on outings with them whenever possible.
